TaiChi Fan Pouch

TaiChi Fan Pouch
For some time now I wanted to have a pouch for my TaiChi fans. Now I finally made it and learnt some new things about leather working like edge processing :-)

The pouch is made out of a black piece of leather and it is closed simply with a flap. There is a strap at the backside to fasten it to another bag or to a carrying strap.

Completed: 2015

Status: I used the pouch a lot. Sadly I lost it on a beautiful sunny day in the park after practising TaiChi :-(

Summer Rose Bag

Summer Rose Bag
This pouch is made for the Summer Rose bustle dress. It is equally kitschy, but also equally sweet :-)

The downside is, that it is rather small for a handbag ;-)

Night Blue Wrist Warmers

Night Blue Wrist Warmers
I made these wrist warmers for the Night Blue Poncho.
Once again I made an easy pattern and 3,50 EUR of material costs are enough :-)

Completed: 2012

Status: The cuffs left my Klamottenkiste in 2022 together with the poncho.

Shopping Bag

Shopping Bag
This is a big shopping bag, that was made to be a bag for sports, because I did not like to go to my dancing lessons with jute bags ;-)
The bag can be carried over one shoulder or on the back.

Without any pattern I simply started to sew and the bag was ready to use in no time.

Completed: 2012

Status: it is used for shopping and as a bag for flamenco, jazz and taichi :-)

Dressy Gloves

Dressy Gloves
My very first self-made finger gloves are made out of plain black cotton-fabric and they are decorated with a discreet border. They are the perfect accessory for victorian daytime dresses.

The gloves are made from pattern B from the Butterick B5370 pattern and I had to sew them by hand for the most part. Sadly the result is somewhat crippled, but nonetheless okay for a first try ;-)

Stripy Snake
Out of a clear blue sky I made this cute little snake one afternoon. I find it adorably sweet, dont’t you? ;-)

Striped Cuffs

Striped Cuffs
And again another new knitted-cuffs-design: stripes!
The pattern is like the one I made for the Button Cuffs, just stiped this time ;-)
Here I made different lengths and colours too.

Completed: 2011 (Prototypes)

Status: in my Klamottenkiste and I wear them quite often

Cogwheel Ring Reloaded

Cogwheel Ring Reloaded
This ring is the new more robust construction version of a simple cogwheel ring. Given that it reminds of a signet ring, it could decorate a male hand ,too ;-)

Completed: 2011

Flounce Gloves

Flounce Gloves
These gloves I made as an addition to the Romantic Military Combination.
For that I added some flounces to the pattern A from the B5370 Butterick pattern and used the remains of the blouse-fabric from the blouse of the Romantic Military Combination.

Camera Bag

Camera Bag

This little quickly sewn bag I made especially for my new digi-cam. It is my first attempt to work with leather and I took the leather from an old corsage ;-)

The rough style of the bag goes great with Steampunk or medieval outfits, so you can easily disguise the modern digi-cam at such events :-)

Completed: 2011

Status: on its first journey I lost it…. at Brescia, Italy :-(
