Dark Victorian Gown

Dark Victorian Gown
This victorian gown is rather simple and for victorian standards quite understated. Even if it looks like a dress from the early bustle era, it gets along with a basic cul de paris and the gathering and train are very low-key.

The outfit is complete with the Dark Victorian Hat.

Making of …

making the casing for the spiral boning...
The skirt and the bum-pillow are made after the same Burda-pattern like the Copper Dress.
The bustle-overskirt is based on this pattern, too, but it is slightly modified and has a diffrent kind of gather.

The pattern for the jacket is from Truly Victorian (TV405, 1872 Vest Basque).
