This dress should be a typical 50s dress. Such a dress was missing in my wardrobe until now.
The dress has a lovely swing making it a great dancing dress but when I chose the beautiful flower print I was instantly reminded of a summer picknick. :-)

I used the pattern V2903 from Vogue Patterns. The pattern is so beautiful, that the only changes I made were fitting issues. I had quite a struggle with these and I was really proud when I had it right.

…and then I lost some weight…. so the fitting is now far from right once more…. *sigh*

Status: I gave the dress 2022 to my dear stepmother Marlies – the dress suits her so much better than me :-)
