Cogwheel Summer Dress
This is an airy two-piece. The top has a ribbon at the neckline and the right side of the top can be gathered by another ribbon. On the front there is a cogwheel stitchery in a laced oval.
The skirt is asymmetrically cut and can be gathered on the short side with another ribbon. At the front there is also a little cogwheel stitchery.

Making of …
With the pattern from Burda Style (11/2009) and the idea with the cogwheels, this top was made out of the remains of the Green Medieval Dress.
I designed a matching skirt for the top, where the pattern is completely selfmade and here I also used the remaining green fabrics.
The estimated cost of material is about 10 EUR for the skirt and about 12 EUR for the top.
The draft shows my first thoughts about the dress.

… in Action
These two summerlike pieces in combination were only worn for the shooting, but I do wear them separately.
Status: in my Klamottenkiste and the skirt is worn more often, the top not anymore
