But then Michelle Gomez, the outfit and … well… Missy happend ;-)
I absolutely adore this new version of the Master and therefore I just had to do this costume! :-)

I wanted to have a TARDIS dress for a long time now. I followed the growing number of such dresses in fanciful variations displayed on the internet.
Since the TARDIS has the outer appearance of an english Police Phone Box, which were quite common in the 1950s, to use a sewing pattern from that time period seemed to be most appropriate.
Even when there are a few TARDIS dresses with this pattern on the net, I did not regret my choice of the pattern.
To complete the TARDIS she needed that little lantern on top. For that I turned a little plush TARDIS with light effects and the typical TARDIS-whooshing-dematerialisation-sound into a hat.

This beautiful piece has a big round pendant with a picture of the TARDIS door with the Bad Wolf graffiti on it, and is a fitting piece of jewellery for Doctor Who fans :-)

Status: I do wear it

The perfect accessoire for those, who love Daleks as much as I do ;-)
The tie pin can be worn as a brooch or even as a hair pin.

This is one of the later versions of the famous scarf that Doctor Who was wearing in his 4th reincarnation. From 1974 to 1981 Tom Baker had many adventures in his role as the 4th Doctor with various variations (and increasing length) of this scarf.
I decided to knit this version, simply because I liked the colours the most. The other 7-colour-versions I would surely not wear in everyday life ;-)

To knit a plush TARDIS is a bit crazy, but it shows that there is a nerd somewhere inside me. Only Doctor Who-fans can appreciate this marvellous cuddly thingy, I guess.
The light on the roof is a little pompom out of white wool and I stuffed a pillow into it, because I did not have any fill-wadding left in my supplies ;-)
I knitted the TARDIS as a present from a Who-nerd to another Who-nerd.
Completed: 2008
Status: given away as a present and is cherished there :-)

This polo neck vest with a zipper and Dalek on the back can be worn high-necked or casual with half open zipper and turned over collor. A nerdy piece, but the picture does not attract too much attention and only Doctor Who fans know what it is ;-)
