This wonderful two-piece consists of a short camisole with coppery uniform buttons, that is ment to be worn over a corset und a fishtail skirt with build-in petticoat, also decorated with coppery buttons.

As accessory I made a little cap and cuffs with coppery buttons.

While making the designs I thought a bit of Captain Frankie Cook from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow ;-)

A slightly modified pattern from a magazine served as a guideline for the camisole.

For the skirt I used a the pattern C from Buttericks B4954 pattern and made the skirt twice with a tulle-petticoat-layer between them in the fishtail section.

Completed: 2010

Even the pieces seperate from another are nice to look at, which is shown in this picture :-)

Status: in my Klamottenkiste and I like wearing it :-)
