Victorian Mermaid Lace Shawl

Victorian Mermaid Lace Shawl
This is the crochet scarf that goes with my boots ;-)

But seriously: tango, flamenco or Victorian dresses, somehow this beautiful piece is an all-rounder.
Now I just have to have more of this color, which is rather untypical for me, but the Mermaid Earrings are a good start ;-)

Copper Roses

Copper Roses
With this outfit I have another typical Steampunk ensemble in my Klamottenkiste :-)
This started with the opulent rose fabric and from there on I developed it further.
The skirt of the Alterable Steampunk Combination belongs to this now just as much.

As accessories for this I made the Brown Net Gloves and the Button Choker.

Alterable Steampunk Combination

Alterable Steampunk Combination
This was meant to be a simple, quick and alterable outfit that could be worn in many differnt combinations.
And that is exactly what it turned out to be. It looks a bit differntly and new in every combination :-)

The two hats Garrison Cap with Feathers and elegant Hat with Feathers make the changeableness and the possibilities of composition perfect.

Ms Shelley Holmes

Ms Shelley Holmes
Sherlock Holmes was always a fascinating character for me. Not only his genius and his highly analytial mind but also his human (or should I say inhuman?) side appeals to me very much. He is arrogant, always needs someone to watch his genius deductions, but never takes actually credit when solving a crime. He is a manic depressiv and constantly needs to occupy his brain.

And what if he was a woman? In Victorian times it would have hardly been possible for a woman to be like that, but one can dream though ;-)

So this is my female version of the great Mr Sherlock Holmes and I call her Ms Shelley Holmes.
Since she is a detective, she would not wear some frilly things and trained skirts. But she would choose elegant clothes when going outside, just as her male counterpart does.

That is why I made her an dressy woollen suit and a warm coat to wear in the chilly London air.
To complete the costume I also made the Brown Leather Gloves.

Autumn Rose Ball Gown

Autumn Rose Ball Gown
This is my gorgeous natural form ball gown in autumnal colours I made for my very special party: It is one of the most beautiful dresses I ever made :-)

It consists of three pieces: bodice, skirt and overskirt, it has wonderful roses emboirderies on the back, golden lace applikations on the skirts and a beautiful train, that can be pinned up for dancing.

The Great Victorian Onyx Set was made for this dress and it matches it perfectly :-)

Great Victorian Onyx Set

Great Victorian Onyx Set
“I want something like the Victorian Dragonfly Set, but it should go well with my new ball gown.”
This is more or less what I told Sandra, when talking about the jewellery I wanted to have for my golden green natural form ball gown.
And so she created another breathtaking jewellery set and gave it to me as a birthday present :-)

It matches perfectly my ball gown and some more of my dresses thanks to the decision to use black stones instead of green ones :-)

Completed: 2017

Status: I wear it for special occasions

A Victorian Gentleman

A Victorian Gentleman
The victorian gentleman in his everyday outfit here wears a grey woollen coat, subtle striped woollen trousers, a matching waistcoat and a green cravat as a blur of colour.

I wanted to make such an outfit for a very long time now. It should be plain but classy and of course it should fit right into the era of the late 19th century.

Dusty Green Victorian Set

Dusty Green Victorian Set
This set would fit lovely with a beautful victorian dress.
Maybe I will sew one matching this jewellery set someday ;-)

Until then it fits nicely with normal dresses and blouses as well :-)

Ballgown Bodice

Ballgown Bodice
At the prospect of being able to attend a Steampunk ball on short notice, I had a little what-to-wear-panik-attack. After all I never made a victorian ballgown ;-)
There was not enough time to sew a whole dress. So I decided to just make a new bodice for my Copper Dress.

It worked: I like the dress as a ballgown the same way I like the original version ;-)

The accessories like the Clockwork Lace Choker and the Cogwheel Cameo Earrings are a perfect match for the ballgown as well!

Contessa Set

Contessa Set
The earings and the pendant are made the same way: bordeux red stones in a bronze-coloured elegant frame.
The set looks nobel and it goes well with evening attire, but also looks great with every-day clothes.
