A crazy year …

Halloween 2020
This year has been absolutely insane, like an end time sci-fi horror movie … and it doesn’t look like next year will get any better anytime soon.

I mourn the parties and conventions that didn’t happen and hope that at least a few of them can take place again in 2021.
I had the biggest “party” this year on Halloween: A double birthday party with my best friends. There were six of us and we had pumpkin soup, pumpkin muffins and pumpkin omelets and two of us were even in fancy dress ;-)
The picture is the only one (cell phone picture) that was taken at the “party”.

I wish us all an end to this pandemic and that we can meet again in person with all the dear people in our lives, hug them and celebrate together :-)

Take care, stay healthy and feel hugged!

Yours,
JessiCat

Once upon a time: Halloween 2018

Flora & Fauna
Do you remember?
Back then? So four weeks ago?
Back then you could party with your friends.
Like in the pictures from our Halloween Party 2018.

I miss that very much….

But I think the measures to minimize contact with other people in this situation are necessary and correct so that our health system does not collapse and we do not have to lose too many dear people to this virus.

The world has changed… and very quickly.
We will adapt… just because at this moment there is no other way.

Take care and stay healthy!
Keep calm and carry on ;-)

Yours,
JessiCat

Ghost Dress

Ghost
At first sight it looks like a cross between a nightgown and a wedding dress.
And then again more like from a Jane Austin movie.
But no, this dress is actually made to be a Halloween costume, it should be the robe of a ghost, a white ghost lady :-)

The Doctor’s Scarf (Small Version)

The Doctor's Scarf
This is one of the later versions of the famous scarf that Doctor Who was wearing in his 4th reincarnation. From 1974 to 1981 Tom Baker had many adventures in his role as the 4th Doctor with various variations (and increasing length) of this scarf.

I decided to knit this version, simply because I liked the colours the most. The other 7-colour-versions I would surely not wear in everyday life ;-)

This kitschy bracelet is more of a carnival accessory than real jewellery ;-)

Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn
This diamond-decorated two-coloured costume is complete with the Harley Quinn Choker and the matching gloves. A bit cheeky and punky this costume is definitely Harley Quinn-worthy.

Needless to say that this costume is most effective in combination with someone wearin the Poison Ivy-costume.

This fake-ivy-decorated costume is complete with a firey red wig and with the Poison Ivy Choker and also with the matching long glove. Even some ballerinas come with the outfit. Asymmetric and with seamingly organic fabrics this dress is definitely Poison Ivy-worthy.
