This is just another of these nice floor-length summer dresses I enjoy wearing when it is hot.
It has fluffy cap sleeves and a beautiful ruffleld hem with eyelet embroidery fluttering lovely :-)

The pattern is almost unmodified from Burda Style (6/2016). The only change is the additional band above the skirt part which is taken from another version of the dress from the same issue.

I had the fabric lying around for some time. It must have been waiting for this dress because it is just perfect for it ;-)
The beautiful embroidered edge makes a very nice hem. Since the fabric is a bit transperant, I had to take two layers of fabric for the upper skirt part. Thus I had some problems getting along with the fabric. But somehow it worked out fine in the end ;-)
