The vest is warm, but light and with enough freedom of movement to be worn during traditional archery. In addition, in terms of appearance, it also goes very well with medieval and fantasy costumes ;-)

You can also combine the vest with the Archer Wrist Warmers very well.

I took the pattern from a very nice mesh vest of a friend. I always find it very difficult to take patterns from finished garments, but in this case it was quite worthwhile – the pattern is just really great!

So it was clear from the start that I would use this pattern multiple times. Therefore, the first project is a small, quick one with deliberately unclean, external seams, all of which are sewn exclusively with the overlock machine. The two sides of the fleece have the nice effect that the collar stands out from the rest. To reinforce the upper back there is a strong cotton fabric underneath.

Status: in my Klamottenkiste and I wore it for the first time in 2022 at the Area 51 in Kiel with my Obi-Wan-dress :-)
