This year has been absolutely insane, like an end time sci-fi horror movie … and it doesn’t look like next year will get any better anytime soon.

I mourn the parties and conventions that didn’t happen and hope that at least a few of them can take place again in 2021.
I had the biggest “party” this year on Halloween: A double birthday party with my best friends. There were six of us and we had pumpkin soup, pumpkin muffins and pumpkin omelets and two of us were even in fancy dress ;-)
The picture is the only one (cell phone picture) that was taken at the “party”.

I wish us all an end to this pandemic and that we can meet again in person with all the dear people in our lives, hug them and celebrate together :-)

Do you remember?
Back then? So four weeks ago?
Back then you could party with your friends.
Like in the pictures from our Halloween Party 2018.

I miss that very much….

But I think the measures to minimize contact with other people in this situation are necessary and correct so that our health system does not collapse and we do not have to lose too many dear people to this virus.

The world has changed… and very quickly.
We will adapt… just because at this moment there is no other way.

Last year I invited my Halloween party guests too late, so that there was not much time to make costumes. So I neede to choose an easy theme:
The Night Circus.
Dresscode: Black and white with an optional touch of red.
And even with this simple theme there were the most fantastic costumes you can imagine :-)

We had a Halloween party at our home with the motto Heroes and Villains, where Sandra and I wore our costums you have seen in the last post.
