Green Fantasy

Green Fantasy
These two pieces were made independently of each other and I did not plan to wear them as one outfit.

The blouse is an addition to my costumes for medieval fairs.
It has beautiful wide sleeves and the neckline can be regulated with a thin cord so that it can be worn off-the-shoulders. It also goes well with my stunning leather corset (see Victoria Prismall).

And I always wanted to have such a skirt and that also for daily use.

Since both pieces combined look nice, too, I am presenting them here as one :-)

Prince Valiant

Prince Valiant
Who remembers Prince Valiant?
That was the hero of the comic series originating in the late 1930s.
And he did wear a tabard like this one.
Technically this costume is not complete without the adequate wig ;-)

I made this costume for my dad :-)

This beautiful medieval dress is designed for the extra small maiden ;-)
The wide bell-shaped sleeves, the hemline and the neckline are decorated with stitchery and the waist is adjusted with the side-lacings.

I made this dress for my little sister Lisa :-)

Camera Bag

Camera Bag

This little quickly sewn bag I made especially for my new digi-cam. It is my first attempt to work with leather and I took the leather from an old corsage ;-)

The rough style of the bag goes great with Steampunk or medieval outfits, so you can easily disguise the modern digi-cam at such events :-)

Completed: 2011

Status: on its first journey I lost it…. at Brescia, Italy :-(

Green Medieval Dress

Green Medieval Dress
It’s unbelievable how much fabric there is on such a medieval dress. I decided on a heavy dark green scrim with a light fabric in light green for the sleeves. The dress is closed on the back with a long lacing.

It became a huge green sack with extremly wide fluttery sleeves :-)
