Vintage Flower Crochet Bag

Vintage Flower Crochet Bag
This cute and kitschy crochet bag goes perfectly with the Ornate Lace Scarf, the Seashell Fan Crochet Mini or the Boho Crochet Skirt. It is quite spacious and has a practical small inside pocket.

This bag is again based on instructions from the book “Colorful Crochet Lace” by Mary Jane Hall. I tried to stick to the instructions as closely as possible. The lining for my bag consists of two different fabrics (black outside, floral pattern inside) with a small inside pocket.
The only notable change to the pattern is that I’ve added three snap fasteners to close instead of just one.

Completed: 2021

Status: in my Klamottenkiste and is carried out every now and then ;-)

Bag for the Mourning Robe

Bag for the Mourning Robe
This bag is ment to be an accessory for the Mourning Robe.
Here I used again the ButterCup Bag pattern from Rae, even when this time there is an additional lace ruffle and the handle is attached on the side.

Tick-Tock Bag

Tick-Tock Bag
The bag got its form from the clock face print of the fabric. It consists simply of two cut-out clock faces, which I stabilised with some fusible fleece, and one straight band with a zipper.
The seams are trimmed with a braid on the outside.

So the bag is the perfect accessory for the Tick-Tock Dress.

Summer Rose Bag

Summer Rose Bag
This pouch is made for the Summer Rose bustle dress. It is equally kitschy, but also equally sweet :-)

The downside is, that it is rather small for a handbag ;-)

Shopping Bag

Shopping Bag
This is a big shopping bag, that was made to be a bag for sports, because I did not like to go to my dancing lessons with jute bags ;-)
The bag can be carried over one shoulder or on the back.

Without any pattern I simply started to sew and the bag was ready to use in no time.

Completed: 2012

Status: it is used for shopping and as a bag for flamenco, jazz and taichi :-)

Camera Bag

Camera Bag

This little quickly sewn bag I made especially for my new digi-cam. It is my first attempt to work with leather and I took the leather from an old corsage ;-)

The rough style of the bag goes great with Steampunk or medieval outfits, so you can easily disguise the modern digi-cam at such events :-)

Completed: 2011

Status: on its first journey I lost it…. at Brescia, Italy :-(
