This adventurer outfit consists of four pieces: a high-necked, but short-sleeved blouse and a skirt with a – to victorian standards – daringly sporty length ;-)
On top of that there is a short vest in place of a corset and instead of a grand bustle there is just a short overskirt. So it is an extremly practical outfit for a victorian adventuress.

The patterns are self-made except for that of the blouse. The blouse is a slightly altered version of the blouse from the Romantic Military Style Combination. The skirt is simply made out of six equal parts, the overskirt consists of two apron pieces and the top is basically an extremely croped blouse pattern.

The leather straps with the buckles on this combination were a new challenge. The work on these took nearly the same amount of time as the very rest of the outfit.
Nevertheless it turned out the way I imagined it, although I never would have thought it would take that much time ;-)

The dress had its great appearance at my first fashion show at the exhibition Machina Nostalgica.
It was presented by Josepha.

Status: in my Klamottenkiste, I wear the skirt and blouse often :-)
