Little Dark Romance
This dress has a touch of dark romance, but is absolutely suitable to wear in everyday life :-)
I really like the lightness of the heartshaped neckline and the sweetness with the black-rose-buttons in contrast to the dark fabric and the practical casual pocket-style.
It reminds me of a dirndl dress somehow… but in a good way ;-)

Making of …
For this dress I used once more the beautiful pattern from Burda Easy (Frühjahr/Sommer 2014) that I used for the Tick-Tock Dress.
However this time I made some changes. Based on the longer version with the longer sleeves I exchanged the smocked back with lacing and changed the hemline so that it is longer at the back than at the front – small changes with huge effect as I see it ;-)
The dress is made out of slightly stretchable jeans-like fabric with a discreet pattern. The buttons are little black roses :-)

… in Action
Status: in my Klamottenkiste and I do wear it (now…finally) ;-)
The dress was lying in my wordobe for a long time, because I lost some weight after sewing it. At the end of 2017 I changed it a little bit for the shooting and then I wore it at New Year’s Eve 2017 :-)
